Barry Thomas Hendrickson died on May 16, 2010, after a 3 1/2 year heroic struggle with pancreatic cancer. He will be greatly missed.
Barry was passionate about Ireland, its history and his own Irish heritage. His dramatic black-and-white landscapes of Ireland often evoke emotional responses from viewers. He said about his images, “When I am drawn to the essential nature of a place, my goal is to express this meaning and bring some emotion to life in my photographs.” Barry and his wife Nancy traveled across the U.S., exhibiting his work in more than 26 cities.
Nancy is honoring Barry’s legacy by displaying and selling the wide assortment of his fine art black and white photographs. Nancy can be reached at gallery@IrelandinBlackandWhite.com.
